Russia increased the supply of agricultural equipment to Uzbekistan in 2018
Deliveries of Russian agricultural machinery to Uzbekistan has increased significantly in the past 9 months of 2018. It is 7,5 times more compared to the same period last year, Kun.uz reports.
"In the current year, the volume of exports of agricultural equipment from the Russian Federation to Uzbekistan increased by 7,5 times in comparison to the previous year. In 9 months, it amounted over 1,3 billion rubles. Russian plants supply a wide range of equipment to Uzbekistan, in particular, combine harvesters, tractors, mowers, harrows, plows, balers, equipment for animal breeding, grain cleaning machines", said Alla Yelizarova, director of the "Rosspetsmash" Association.
The management of the "Rosspetsmash" Association takes part in the business mission of Russian industrials to Uzbekistan. The business visit aims to strengthen the cooperation of two countries and identify the potential ways of collaboration in the field of export.
It will be held within the framework of Russian President Vladimir Putin’s visit to Tashkent, during the First Forum of inter-regional cooperation between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Uzbekistan.
"Representatives of the agricultural businesses of Uzbekistan noted that interest in the Russian agricultural machines is growing year by year. Mechanical engineers, members of the “Rosspetsmash” Association, are ready to increase supplies, as well as develop cooperation in the field of export of road-building and food engineering products to Uzbekistan", said representatives of the Russian association of manufacturers of specialized machinery and equipment.
