Former Deputy Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan dies aged 61
On October 20, 2018, former Deputy Foreign Minister Rustam Tukhtaboev died at the age of 61, the press service of the MFA reports.
Rustam Tukhtaboev was born on August 5, 1958 in Tashkent. In 1980, he graduated from Tashkent State University. From 1980 to 2005 he worked in different positions at government organizations.
Between the years of 2005-2015, he served as Deputy Foreign Minister - Head of the Foreign Policy Analysis and Strategy Department.
Mr. Tukhtabaev was awarded the Dustlik (Friendship) Order in 2004.
