Uzbek, Russian Commanders of the National Guard signed cooperation agreement
Bakhodir Toshmatov, Commander of the National Guard of Uzbekistan and Viktor Zolotov, Director of the Federal Service for National Guard of the Russian Federation signed an inter-departmental cooperation agreement, the press service of the Russian National Guard reported.
The ceremony of inking the co-op agreement was attended by Presidents of Uzbekistan and Russia.
The document aims to strengthen cooperation between the parties in the field of public order preservation and public security, protection of strategic state objects and combating terrorism.
It will allow conducting joint exercises, sharing information on community-based security activities in emergency cases and terroristic threats, exchanging experiences, consultations, conferences, educational seminars, as well as the organization of events for the development of sports and cultural ties.
The settlement outlines the main directions of cooperation in the improvement of material and technical supply, research activities and development of information systems.
