Dushanbe hosted the Symposium of Central Asia on ICT in education

In Dushanbe, on October 24 to 26, the national commission of the Republic of Tajikistan for UNESCO and the Ministry of Education and Science of Tajikistan with the support and cooperation of UNESCO, held the Central Asia symposium on information-communication technologies in education (CASIE), the press service of the Tajik Ministry of Foreign Affairs reports.

The symposium was attended by representatives of the Central Asian countries, Korea, Thailand and Mongolia.

The CASIE is held annually, starting from 2013, with the support of the UNESCO Cluster Office in Almaty and the Asia-Pacific Regional Bureau of UNESCO on education in Bangkok. It aims to achieve the 4th goal of the Sustainable Development project in the field of education.

The symposium is a platform for comprehensive discussion of important issues in the field of education and contributes to the identification of potential solutions through the effective use of information technologies and communications in the framework of the program “Education for all”.
