Russia to increase the quota for migrants by next year
The Ministry of Labor of Russia proposed to increase the quota for migrants to 144,000 people in 2019, Kun.uz correspondent reports.
This is 4,000 people more compared to this year’s amount.
The proposal was pronounced in the explanatory note of the draft government resolution and posted on the portal of draft regulations of legal acts.
The Ministry of Labor explained that the main reasons for attracting migrant workers to Russia are the implementation of investment projects with foreign capital, the use of imported technological equipment, the use of modern technologies in construction and the lack of personnel with the necessary qualifications on these fields in Russia.
It is worth noting that in the first half of 2018, about a million citizens of Uzbekistan went to work into Russia.
