Uzbekistan increases petrol prices effective from November 16
The Uzbek government adopted a resolution on the gradual increase of the prices for fuel and energy resources. This is reported by the Ministry of Justice telegram channel.
According to the resolution, effective from November 16, 2018, the retail price of gasoline and diesel fuel, taking into account the consumption tax, will be:
Ai-80 gasoline – 4,000 sums per liter;
Ai-91 gasoline – 4,500 sums per liter;
Diesel fuel – 4,800 sums per liter;
Eco-diesel fuel – 4,900 sums per liter.
Starting from January 1, 2019, the followings will be introduced in “Yunusabad” district, Tashkent as an experiment:
• 300 kilowatt electricity consumption per month per user;
• 1000 cubic meters gas consumption per month per user living in individual houses and flats during the heating season (in other cases 250 cubic meters per month).
Within the limits of these norms, the payment will be at the rates established by the state, and above the norm - using the coefficient of 1.2.
