The AIBA election is at the final stage: Rakhimov proposed using paper blanks instead of e-devices

The 2018 Congress of the International Boxing Association (AIBA) is about to end its work in Moscow, Russia. In the next few hours, at the Congress Park in Radisson Royal, elections will be held among the candidates for 11 leading posts of AIBA.

According to Kun.uz correspondent, the electronic devices, used in the voting, were tested before starting the election process. The organizers have repeatedly tested the devices to ensure that they are in fit condition. Almost after an hour-technical training, the preparedness of devices was confirmed. However, the presidential candidate Gafur Rakhimov offered to vote not on special e-devices, but on paper blanks.

The proposal of an Uzbek candidate was taken into consideration. Now, a coffee break was announced for a short time in the conference. It is unclear yet how the voting will take place.
