New Deputy Chairman of the Central Bank of Uzbekistan is appointed
In accordance with the presidential decree, Orif Butayev has been appointed Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Central Bank of Uzbekistan, Kun.uz correspondent reported.
On this post, he replaced Sherzod Khadjizadayev who was appointed as the First Deputy Governor of Tashkent city substituting Kakhramon Aripov in early October.
Prior to this appointment, Mr. Butayev has been working as the Director of the Department of State Register of Credit Information in the Central Bank.
For reference, there are six deputy chairmen of the Central Bank. They are, including Arif Butayev, the First Deputy Timur Ishmetov, Ilhom Norqulov, Shukhrat Otaboyev, Botir Zokhidov and Adham Rustamovich Islomov.
