Flights from Russia to Uzbekistan may become more accessible in six months’ time
Uzbekistan is addressing the issue of the accessibility of air travel to the country. Current flight fares are expensive, Botirjon Nurullayev, the deputy khokim of Samarkand region on tourism development, told journalists.
“Today we have problems in terms of logistics. Many people complain that air travel is very expensive. We are now actively working on it. These issues are to be resolved soon,” Mr. Nurullayev said.
As he states, the improvements will be noticeable in the coming six months.
On November 13, 2018, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the Russian Federation Botirjon Asadov told reporters that the representatives of 10 large companies, as well as representatives of the State Committee for Tourism Development of Uzbekistan had arrived in Sverdlovsk region.
“They will offer some new packages that would be convenient for the Russian tourists. Researches show that Uzbekistan is becoming very popular during winter holidays,” the ambassador said.
According to him, on Tuesday, a number of agreements will be signed between Sverdlovsk region and Uzbekistan.
