Parliamentary delegation of Uzbekistan to pay a maiden visit to Tajikistan
According to the report of Asia-Plus, on November 19-22, delegation of the Uzbek parliament will visit Tajikistan for the first time.
Speaker of the Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis Nurdinjon Ismoilov will lead the delegation. During the visit, the delegation will meet with Tajik President Emomali Rakhmon. In addition, it is planned to hold negotiations with the speaker of both chambers of the Tajik parliament Makhmadsaid Ubaydulloyev and Shukurjon Zukhurov.
The delegation will get acquainted with the activities of the plant “TALCO cable” and visit the HPP “Nurek”.
Earlier, Mr. Ismailov met with Tajik leader Emomali Rahmon, when he arrived in Tashkent on a state visit on August 18. The Tajik President held talks with the speaker of the Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis then.
