Uzbekistan, India may jointly create IT parks
On November 15, Ministry for Development of Information Technologies and Communications held a meeting with a delegation of Indian Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Kun.uz correspondent reported referring to the press service of the Ministry.
The meeting was attended by Director of the Department of Electronics at IT Ministry of India Rajiv Kumar, Director General of the Indian Software Technologies Park Omkar Ray, Director of Advanced Computer Technologies Development Center Navin Jayne and others.
During the talks, priority directions of bilateral cooperation in the field of information-communication technologies were discussed. In particular, the sides exchanged views on establishment and development of IT parks in Uzbekistan, launch of specialized tutoring courses on the training program of the Center for Development of Advanced Computer Technologies (C-DAS) on the basis of the Jawaharlal Nehru Uzbek-Indian Center for Information Technology at TUIT, as well as e-Government and other important directions.
