The first International Investment Forum on Tourism has started in Tashkent, Kun.uz correspondent reported.
Organizers of the first International Tourism Forum are the State Committee for Tourism Development, the State Committee for Investments, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, diplomatic representations of Uzbekistan in foreign countries, the Ministry of Trade and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan.
The forum program includes presentations of “Charvak”, “Samarkand city”, “Ancient Bukhara” projects, the creation of small tourist destinations in Surkhandarya region, as well as tours to the regions of the country. Primary objective of the forum is to expand international cooperation in the tourism development, attract direct investment and promote the country’s tourism opportunities among potential investors and guests of Uzbekistan.
Following the results of the event, it is expected that agreements and memoranda of cooperation between investors and tourists will be signed.
