Deputy Chairman of the Customs Committee: Uzbekistan has exported fruits and vegetables worth $ 778 million to date
By November 19, 2018, Uzbekistan exported more than 1.1 million tons of fruits and vegetables worth $ 778 million, Mutallibjon Saliyev, Deputy Chairman of the Customs Committee, said at a video conference meeting held on November 21.
The main export share of fruits and vegetables in Uzbekistan – 49,3% (536,300 tons) accounted for the portion of Kazakhstan.
In addition, 216,000 tons of fruit and vegetable goods were exported to Russia, 80,200 tons to Kyrgyzstan, 64,800 tons to Afghanistan, 22,300 tons to Vietnam, 19,300 tons to Turkey and 10,600 tons to Ukraine.
