Suicide bombing killed 27 in Afghanistan

As a result of an explosion in a mosque in the south-east of Afghanistan, 27 people died and 79 were injured, Pajhwok reports.

The explosion occurred on November 23 during the Juma Namaz (Jummah prayer time) in Khost province. According to preliminary data, the explosive device was activated by a suicide bomber.

Afghan President Ashraf Ghani condemned the attack and ordered an investigation of the incident.
