Singaporean Universal Success Enterprises to build “smart city” in Tashkent region

Singapore’s Universal Success Enterprises plans to build a “smart city” in the Tashkent region for $ 2.5 billion, Kun.uz correspondent reports.

Recently, the corresponding memorandum was signed between representatives of a Singaporean company, State Investment Committee and State Tourism Development Committee of Uzbekistan in Tashkent.

“In 2019-2021, it is planned to implement a project for the construction of a “smart city” in Tashkent region with the participation of the foreign company. The project has attracted direct foreign investment in the amount of $ 2.5 billion,” the State Investment Committee reported.

It should be noted that the company Universal Success Enterprises has extensive experience in the construction of smart and industrial cities. In particular, the company implemented a project to build Kolkata West International City on 152 hectares and the Dholera Special Investment Region on 400 hectares in India.
