Uzbek citizen arrested for illegal crossing of the Russian border
A citizen of Uzbekistan is sentenced to nine months’ of imprisonment in a penal colony due to illegal crossing of the Russian border, Astrakhan media reported.
A woman tried to cross the state border at night bypassing the checkpoint. She was helped by a local resident. However, their plan did not work, as the border guard arrested them red-handed.
Her accomplice, citizen of the Russian Federation, will also serve six month’ of imprisonment in the same colony.
It is worth reminding that in September, a citizen of Uzbekistan tried to get into the territory of Turkey in a suitcase. She was arrested by the local police at the airport.
