Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education received the U.S. delegation 

On November 28, the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education hosted a meeting with a delegation of the US State Department's Senior Adviser on Financial Aid to Central Asian States headed by Richard Stoddard. 

At present, the following projects are being implemented with the support of the US Embassy: 
 
- inviting English language teachers to work in higher educational institutions of the republic; 
 
- arranging a short-term visit of American specialists of higher educational institutions to Uzbekistan for delivering lectures; 
 
- sending teachers of higher educational institutions of the republic to the USA to attend short-term retraining courses. 

 
During the meeting, implementation of projects financed by the US State Department was analyzed, plans for the near future were discussed.
