Uzbek delegation took part in the Thirteenth Senior Officials Meeting of the "Central Asia plus Japan" Dialogue

On November 26-27, the thirteenth Senior Officials Meeting (SOM) of the “Central Asia plus Japan” Dialogue was held in Tokyo, the press service of the MFA reported.
The meeting was attended by delegations from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Japan.
The practical aspects of cooperation between the countries of Central Asia and Japan in the areas of transport and logistics, agriculture and tourism, as well as in the field of trade and investment were discussed during the meeting.
Special attention was paid to cooperation in ensuring regional security.
Participants actively discussed the agenda and outcome products at the seventh foreign ministers’ meeting of “Central Asia plus Japan” Dialogue, which will be held in Tajikistan in the future.
