State Customs Committee officers uncovered that officials of the LLC registered in Yakkasaroy district became members of the Association “Uztukimachiliksanoat” on the basis of falsified documentation. They submitted to the customs authorities fake documents on membership to the association and were able to obtain customs exemptions worth 553 million sums on imported goods from foreign countries.
During the inspections, it was found out that officials of the organization sold the imported goods in cash instead of directing them for production.
In the same manner, an LLC in Shaykhontokhur district illegally imported fabric based on the membership of the Association “Uztukimachiliksanoat”. They received customs concessions on duties unlawfully and benefited 682 million sums
The customs authorities have prosecuted both cases and initiated criminal proceedings. All materials were forwarded to the investigating departments.
