Ismatulla Irgashev receives Deputy Chief of Mission of the U.S. Embassy in Tashkent

On December 3, 2018 at the Foreign Ministry, the Special Representative of the President of Uzbekistan for Afghanistan Ismatulla Irgashev met with Alan Meltzer, Deputy Chief of Mission of the US Embassy in Tashkent, the press service of the Foreign Ministry reports.

The sides exchanged views on current issues of Uzbek-American cooperation in the Afghan area, including the practical aspects of the implementation of joint projects in various fields.

The meeting also discussed the timing and agenda of the upcoming visit to Uzbekistan of the Special Representative of the US Secretary of State for Afghanistan Zalmay Khalilzad.
