Chelyabinsk State Institute of Culture to establish a joint faculty with SIACU in Tashkent

Rector of Chelyabinsk State Institute of Culture Vladimir Rushanin, on Dec. 4, visited the State Institute of Arts and Culture of Uzbekistan (SIACU), UzA reports.

Within the framework of the visit, the Russian side got acquainted with conditions and opportunities created for students at the Institute and met with the Rector of the SIACU Ibrokhim Yuldashev. The sides, during the meeting, reached an agreement on development of cooperation between universities in the sphere of culture, art and science.

It was agreed that in the coming academic year (2019/2020), a joint faculty will be opened at the department of organization and management of institutions of culture and art of the SIACU.

It is worth noting that the agreement reached with ChSIC became the second important document signed with Russian education institutions in the sphere of art and culture. Recently, the SIACU agreed with world-famous all-Russian State Institute of Cinematography on establishment of a joint faculty.
