Belarusian-Uzbek Institute of Applied Technical Qualifications to be opened in Tashkent
A joint Belarusian-Uzbek Interdisciplinary Institute of Applied Technical Qualifications is planned to open in Tashkent, follows from the draft presidential decree.
One of the main directions of the institute will be retraining, organizing internships and staff development courses in strategically important areas for Uzbekistan on the basis of joint educational programs. Implementation of scientific innovation and its commercialization is also planned.
Graduates will be granted a diploma in the established model from the Belarusian National Technical University, which is recognized as a document on higher education in Uzbekistan.
The university is planned to be located on the basis of the Tashkent construction and community vocational college (485, Mannon Uygur St., Uchtepa district).
Trainings will be conducted in such areas as studying intelligent devices, machines and their production, computer mechatronics, biotechnical-medical devices and systems, management of innovative projects of industrial enterprises and others.
Language of instruction will be Russian. Enrollment is open from the 2019/2020 academic year.
