Smuggling antiradar devices was prevented by customs officers
Employees of Anti-Smuggling and Combating Customs Legislation Infringement Department of Tashkent region have disclosed the facts of illegal importing of antiradar devices into our country.
Citizen T. J., who entered through the border customs post “Gishtkuprik”, was suspected by the customs officers. While inspecting his hand luggage, it was identified that he was attempting to bring 61 units of antiradar devices (worth more than 50.5 million sums) into the country without notifying them in the customs declaration.
In addition, a similar situation has been detected by the employees of the border post “S. Najimov”.
Another citizen Sh. D. entered the border post driving his “COBALT” car. Upon checking the car, it was discovered that the driver was hiding 12 units of antiradar devices in different parts of the vehicle. Thus, he was attempting to transfer these equipment and various car spare parts worth about 22 million sums illegally from the neighboring country.
Currently, customs investigations are underway on the above-mentioned illicit cases.
