Shavkat Mirziyoyev expresses condolences to President of Turkey following the train crash in Ankara
On December 13, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev expressed condolences to President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdoğan in connection with numerous victims and injuries resulting from the collision of trains in the city of Ankara, the presidential press service reports.
For information, on Dec. 13, a high-speed train hit a railway engine and crashed into a pedestrian overpass at a station in the Turkish capital Ankara, killing nine people and injuring 47 others.
Last month, 15 people were injured when a passenger train collided with a freight train in Turkey’s central province of Sivas.
