Uzbek-South Korean business ombudsmen to collaborate

Korean Business Forum was held in Uzbekistan during which the Uzbek side discussed the issues of developing cooperation with the South Korean investors.

At the event, the guests were provided with detailed information about the investment potential of the country, protection of rights and legitimate interests of business entities.

During the Forum, the participants got acquainted with the activities of the Business Ombudsman at the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan. In addition, an agreement was reached on cooperation for protecting the rights of Business Ombudsman, Korean Ombudsman for foreign investments, as well as medium and small business entities in the future with the participation of Korean partners.

Today, the share of Uzbekistan in the trade turnover of the Republic of Korea with Central Asian countries is almost 50%. More than 70 representative offices of South Korean companies are accredited in our country with participation of more than 500 enterprises in various sectors of the economy.
