Tashkent hosts the first International Tournament on K-1 MMA
In Tashkent, the professional and amateur Federation K-1 of Uzbekistan, represented by President Omonboy Zafarov, holds an international amateur and professional fights in mixed martial arts (MMA) K-1 for the first time in the Republic.
Today, at 14:00, the ceremonial opening of the tournament kicked off. At the same time, an amateur tournament has begun in the weight category from 54 to 91+ kg with the participation of 275 athletes.
On December 26, at 18:00 pm, the most anticipated event of the tournament - professional fights between the athletes of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan are scheduled. 11 Uzbek fighters, including Khayriddin Khojimukhamedov, Timur Makhatov, Rustam Rikhsivoyev, Avaz Salimov, Javokhir Elboyev, Sulaymon Solikhov and others will take part in the tournament.
Winners of the event will be awarded with medals, diplomas and championship belts.
Date and timing:
Amateur tournament: on December 24-25, between 09:00 – 21:00
Final amateur tournament: on December 26, between 09:00 – 14:00
Professional fights: on December 26, at 18:00
