Moscow increases the price of labor patenting for migrants from January 1, 2019
On January 1, 2019, the labor patenting for migrants in Moscow was raised from 4,500 to 5,000 rubles.
At the end of November 2018, corresponding changes were made and accepted during the Moscow City Duma meeting.
The chairwoman of the commission on economic policy and budget at the Moscow City Duma Lyudmila Guseva believes that labor migrants with proper education and physical fitness should arrive in Moscow to work.
Earlier, she noted that an increase in patent fees for foreigners would help to fill the country’s budget and the funds received would be spent on social needs.
Almost simultaneously with the Moscow City Duma, the Moscow Oblast Duma has also adopted a resolution to increase the labor patent fees for migrants. Thus, from January 1, 2019 onwards, patenting fee has been increased by 450 rubles (up to 4,750 rubles).
