Uzbekistan becomes one of the top three importers of Russian cars

As per the report of the analytical agency Avtostat, Uzbekistan became one of the top importers of the Russian cars in 2018.
“In the first 11 months of 2018, 26 thousand cars were exported from the Russian Federation to other countries. More than 70% of this amount accounted for only five countries. The Czech Republic tops the list, where during the reporting period 6.3 thousand cars were imported. Ukraine is on the second line of the rating (3.8 thousand), and Uzbekistan closes the top three (3.1 thousand),” the agency notes.
Also, quite significant export deliveries fell to Latvia and Azerbaijan (2.9 thousand and 2.4 thousand units, respectively).
Figures for other countries look much modest. Serbia (577), Estonia (515), Slovakia (505), Iraq (500) and Hungary (443) are in the list of top 10.
It should be recalled that recently GM Uzbekistan resumed export of cars to Russia.
