Interior Ministry to hand over security services to the National Guard

The President proposed to transfer the security services to the jurisdiction of the National Guard of Uzbekistan.

This was announced yesterday, January 10, by Shavkat Mirziyoyev during a video-selector meeting, a source at the Interior Ministry told Kun.uz.

“Now the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the National Guard will be responsible for public security in the makhallas together,” said the head of state.

According to the source, the relevant departments are currently working on this issue.
