New khokim of Tashkent district is appointed

An extraordinary session of the Tashkent Regional Council of People's Deputies was held on 11 January during which organizational issues were discussed.

At the session, Akbar Sulaymonov was appointed to the post of khokim of the Tashkent district upon the recommendation of the khokim of Tashkent region.

Kakhramon Abilov, first deputy khokim of Tashkent region on economic and entrepreneurship issues, was relieved of his duties due to being transferred to another job.

Fayzulla Mamanov, acting head of the Tashkent regional department of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, has been appointed first deputy khokim of Tashkent region on economic and entrepreneurship issues, replacing Abilov.
