Several officials of the Andijan Regional Department of Internal Affairs are detained

According to some unconfirmed sources, several officials of the Andijan Regional Department of Internal Affairs were detained.
It is noted that about 150 people have made different complaints about the detainees already.
Kun.uz correspondent contacted the head of the press service of the Prosecutor General’s Office Surayyo Rakhmonova and asked to comment on the case.
“Investigative actions are underway on some criminal cases initiated against some Interior Ministry officers,” said Rakhmonova.
According to her, several law enforcement officers were charged under Articles 206 and 234, and were imprisoned on December 19, 2018 by the officers of the Prosecutor-General's Office.
