Omani Ambassador presents credentials to Abdulaziz Kamilov
On January 16, 2019, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Abdulaziz Kamilov, received the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Sultanate of Oman Ahmed bin Said bin Omar al Katheri, the press service of the Ministry reported.
Accepting copies of his credentials, the Minister warmly welcomed the Ambassador and wished him successful work on strengthening relations between Uzbekistan and Oman.
During the conversation that took place, the sides expressed confidence that the opening of the Uzbek Embassy in the city of Muscat will make the Uzbek-Omani dialogue systemic and dynamic in nature.
The parties exchanged views on the prospects for cooperation in political, trade, economic, investment, cultural, humanitarian and other areas, as well as on the schedule and agenda of the upcoming joint events in 2019.
