Introduction of a new system at universities of Uzbekistan was proposed 

On the collective reference portal “My opinion”, a petition for introducing an automated system of managing a single educational process at universities has been posted.

It is noteworthy that nowadays it is difficult to manage all the processes of universities without a complex automation, which is conditionally divided into three main blocks: economics, educational process and management of operational processes. At present, various universities have up-to-date solutions for automation of higher education institutions based on standards and technologies.

This, in turn, greatly reduces the cost of ownership of the system and ensures compliance with information standards implemented in the field of contemporary education, the petition says.

“We propose to introduce an automated system of document management and education process that can be successfully applied at higher education institutions.

The following tasks are solved through this system:

- all orders and instructions concerning students (admission, assigning stipend, dismissal, resettlement, transfer of education, academic leave);

- maintenance of e-journals and electronic notebooks;

- keeping personal cards of the student taking into account all his documents;

- scheduling training sessions and registering their results;

- formation of training programs by the specialty, directions;

- distribution and calculation of educational workload based on the curriculum;

- creation of departmental, faculty staff lists based on distributed workload for teachers;

- organizing the activity of the admission committee - registration, enrollment of entrants;

- calculation of contract payments;

- forming various report and etc.

The system should be guided by the standards of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education. It also should manage the learning process that will allow adaptation to the specific curriculum of a particular higher education institution.

The recommended system should automatically set up all the calculations by applying the learning standards and adapt them to the areas of expertise and training places, faculties, and so on. In addition, this system has to be focused on students, schedule planned training courses and implement an electronic document management. “Introducing the software of automated learning process for higher education institutions would help reduce the system's problems significantly,” the author writes.
