President lays flowers at the foot of the monument to Islam Karimov

President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev on January 30 laid flowers at the foot of the monument to Islam Karimov in Tashkent.

In accordance with the resolution of the head of our state "On perpetuation of the memory of the First President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Islam Abduganiyevich Karimov" dated January 25, 2017, the birthday of the First President, January 30, is widely celebrated every year in our country.

Furthermore, Shavkat Mirziyoyev will also take part today in memorable events dedicated to Islam Karimov in Samarkand. President has already departed for the region.
