Pension for each child adopted in the family amounts to 820,000 soums from March 1, 2019 

President of the Republic of Uzbekistan has signed a decree “On additional measures to increase social protection of orphans and children deprived of parental care”. 
 
According to the decree: 
 
Starting from March 1, 2019, the amount of pension paid for each child under a patronage will increase by 1,33 times, it will amount to 820,000 soums. This will be gradually increased in the amount not less than the inflation rate; 
 
Starting from October 1, 2019, the monthly additional fee paid for managers and educators of specialized state educational institutions for children with physical or mental disabilities, working under special conditions, will consist of 75% of their basic salary; 
 
Monthly compensation of 170,000 soums will be paid to the employees of trusteeship and guardianship agencies to cover transport expenses associated with the performance of their duties, it will be gradually increased in the amount not less than the inflation rate; 
 
Teachers of orphanages, “Muruvvat” boarding schools for children with disabilities and children's sanatorium for tuberculosis, will be applied the base rate set for a particular degree of mentors at state preschool educational institutions; 
 
The basic tariff rate of parenting orphanage families will two times the basic rate of the basic rate set for the orphanage teachers. At the same time, the current additional fee paid for special working conditions will be annulled, preserving the annual leaves, privileges and guarantees for teachers of orphan houses.
