Sardor Kariyev becomes acting head of the Agency for development of pharmaceutical industry
Sardor Kariev was appointed acting Director of the Agency for Development of Pharmaceutical Industry under the Ministry of Health. This was reported by the Ministry of Justice.
The Agency was established by a presidential decree in November 2017. Its main tasks are development and implementation of a strategy for sustainable development of the pharmaceutical industry, the study of pharmaceutical market environment, attraction of investments and others. Since February 2018, the agency has been headed by Aziz Abdullayev.
Sardor Kariyev, born in 1982, graduated from the National University of Uzbekistan and Westminster University in Tashkent. In 2003, he headed the marketing department of Jurabek Laboratories and in 2005, he was appointed general director of the company. He has been awarded the state medal “Shukhrat”.
