Famous literary critic Omonulla Madayev dies
On March 2, at the age of 76, well-known Uzbek literary critic Omonulla Madayev died.
He is an author of many scientific and methodical works in the field of literature and pedagogy. In addition, he was awarded the title "Excellence in education", "Excellence in public education" and the state badge "Dustlik".
Madayev was born in 1942 in Tashkent. In 1964, he graduated from the Tashkent State University. Since 1966, he worked in various positions at the National University of Uzbekistan.
It should be recalled that he often criticized the work of the State Testing Center, and also openly spoke about the problems of corruption in the education system.
