Customs officers prevent smuggling of batch of airguns from Russian Federation
The passenger of the Moscow-Tashkent train tried to import a batch of disassembled airguns into Uzbekistan, the State Customs Committee reported.
At the border railway customs post “Karakalpakstan”, while inspecting the train wagons arriving in our country on the Moscow-Tashkent route, customs officers prevented unlawful activities of the passenger Y. S.

During the customs inspections, it was identified that the lawbreaker attempted to illegally bring 446 units of several types of pneumatic weapons into the country, hiding in beddings.
Another passenger of the train, who attempted to smuggle jewelry in the amount of more than 173 grams totaling 112 million soums, was detained by customs officers.
Currently, on the revealed facts of offenses, relevant procedural documents have been formalized and customs checks are underway.
