Russian Minister of Health assists Uzbek citizen who falls ill on board
The Minister of Health of the Russian Federation Veronika Skvortsova assisted a passenger of the plane, who became ill during the flight from Moscow to Tashkent, RIA Novosti reported with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Health of Russia.
“An hour after takeoff, the captain addressed the passengers on the speakerphone, if there was a doctor on board. The minister responded immediately. Assistance was provided to a citizen of Uzbekistan,” the report reads.
Skvortsova arrived on a visit to Uzbekistan on March 6. The program of the visit includes negotiations at the Uzbek Ministry of Health.
The Russian delegation will also get acquainted with the activities of the Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Medical Center of Surgery named after Academician V. Vakhidov, the Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Medical Center of Cardiology and a number of other medical institutions of our country.
According to the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Moscow, during the meetings, the parties are expected to exchange views on the possibility of opening a branch of one of the medical schools of Russia and building a modern multidisciplinary medical center in Tashkent.
