Uzbek Ministry of Public Education, Microsoft discuss cooperation

Sherzod Shermatov, the Minister of Public Education of Uzbekistan (MPE), held negotiations with the delegation of Microsoft Corporation, the press service of the Ministry said.

During the meeting, the current state of cooperation between the MPE and Microsoft, as well as prospects for their development were discussed.

The sides exchanged views on the possible involvement of Microsoft in the MPE’s project “IT-nation”, which aims increasing the potential of Uzbek youth in information technologies.

Representatives of Microsoft company offered to consider the implementation of the Imagine Academy program that offers various training courses in IT.
