Uzbekistan to introduce new types of 30-day electronic entry visas starting from March 15
The State Personalization Center under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan informed that in accordance with the article 4 of the Presidential Decree No.5611 of January 5, 2019 “On additional measures for accelerated development of tourism in the Republic of Uzbekistan” starting from March 15, 2019 the new types of electronic entry visas (double and multiple) for a period of 30 days will be introduced in Uzbekistan, the press service of the Foreign Ministry reported.
In pursuance of this Decree, as well as in order to perform work on the modernization of the E-VISA system, the website (e-visa.gov.uz) will be suspended for a period of 24 hours on March 13, 2019, from 9.00 a.m. (Tashkent time).
