Central Bank of Uzbekistan allows Trustbank to attend currency trading
On March 20, the Trustbank was admitted to currency trading in the regular mode, the press service of the bank reports.
Earlier, the Central Bank of Uzbekistan suspended 9 banks from participation in bidding on the Republican Currency Exchange for the purchase and sale of foreign currency. The Central Bank stated that it applied sanctions due to the fact that banks completed transactions with violations.
As specified in the report, Trustbank resumed participation in the auction “after careful examination by the regulator under difficult circumstances related to the completion of transactions on the currency exchange”.
