Largest mosque in Europe to be built based on the project of Uzbek architects
In May 2019, the largest mosque in the European area will open in Chechnya.
This mosque is designed to accommodate at least 20,000 prayers at a time.
Currently, interior and exterior decorations are underway in the mosque. 300 specialists are involved in the work.
The mosque is decorated in the style of Central Asia and the Middle East, with the use of white marble from Greece. Italian specialists are engaged in the lighting system.
According to the "Grozny" TV, construction of the mosque started in December 2012 with the project of Uzbek architects.
