Shavkat Mirziyoyev visits UAE on March 24-26
The President of Uzbekistan, at the invitation of Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, will be paying an official visit to the United Arab Emirates on March 24-26 of this year, the presidential press service reports.
The program of the visit includes meetings of the President with the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, and Ruler of the Emirate of Dubai Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
“The agenda of the talks includes the issues of further expansion and strengthening of bilateral multi-faceted cooperation, practical cooperation in the trade-economic, investment, innovation, banking, financial, cultural, humanitarian and other fields. There will also be an exchange of views on topical aspects of international and regional policy,” the press service said.
Following the visit, it is planned to adopt a Joint Statement between Uzbekistan and the United Arab Emirates, as well as to sign bilateral documents on cooperation in investment and finance, renewable energy, industrial and infrastructural development, agriculture, customs administration, labor, culture and other fields.
In addition, the head of state is scheduled to familiarize himself with the activities of the Masdar City Technopark, and visit a number of industrial, social and other facilities.
