Incorrect information about opening of the presidential reception disseminated

On the Internet, information about opening of the President Shavkat Mirziyoyev's reception office at the intersection of Karatash and Furkat streets has spread. Moreover, it was reported that the president allegedly received the first applicants and listened to their requests.

As Kun.uz was informed by an informer at the government, these reports do not correspond to reality. It is not planned to open a reception room for presidential meetings with citizens in Tashkent. Also, organization of online broadcasts on the reception of citizens is not yet planned. The source called on not to believe such speculations.

It is known that there are “virtual receptions” of presidents in Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Belarus, Ukraine and other countries. But in none of the countries, the president personally receives visitors.

It should be reminded that in all regions of Uzbekistan Virtual and National reception offices of the President have been created. 2017 was declared as the “Year of dialogue with the people and human interests”.

On January 17, 2019, the Presidential Decree “On measures to further improve the system of working with problems of the population” was issued.

According to the document, from February 1, 2019, along with the current system of work of the People’s Receptionist with appeals from the population, a new system was introduced to identify and solve the People’s Receptionist problems through the bypass, direct work of state bodies with the population.

By a decree on the People’s Admissions, a whole series of new tasks was imposed. In particular, they are now coordinating on an ongoing basis the activities of sectors, government bodies and other organizations to identify socio-economic problems through courtyard bypass, study of social and other objects, as well as their solution.
