School graduates to be granted diploma of professional qualification of the state sample

On the portal of discussion of draft normative-legal acts, a draft order of the Minister of Public Education “On approval of the order of granting the diploma of professional education to 11th grade graduates of high schools” is placed.

According to the press service of the Ministry, the document was prepared in accordance with the Resolution № 868 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated October 24, 2017 “On measures to establish educational-production complexes for vocational education for pupils of 10-11 grades of high schools”.

According to this order, pupils, enrolled in the curricula of the 11th grade in the educational-training complexes, will be given a diploma of professional qualification of the state sample.

In accordance with the draft document, the graduate who successfully completes the educational-industrial complex is awarded a diploma of ordinary or excellent professional qualification that gives the right to work. Such diploma will be given by the director of the school of general secondary education, where a pupil is currently studying.

Educational and production complexes specialized in vocational education for pupils of 10-11 grades of general secondary education institutions have been established for the following purposes:

• vocational training for pupils that does not require special and profound training;

• upbringing of a person with creative thinking in the selected profession, organizational and entrepreneurial skills;

• helping pupils choose their profession based on their interests and abilities.
