Gifted children from socially needy families to be provided material support
The government approved the Regulation on the order of material and moral support for gifted children from socially needy families in continuing their education.
In accordance with the document, the material and moral support for gifted children from socially needy families in continuing their education will be provided by regional inter-ministerial councils of youth affairs.
Thus, annually, until June 1, documents confirming students' achievements, copies of passports or birth certificates of students and their families, documents confirming their disability (if available), along with written papers confirming the loss of the breadwinner (if any) should be submitted to the Youth Union and Mahalla.
Each year, until June 10, documents will be studied by interdepartmental councils and submitted to regional councils until June 15. Decisions on financial aid will be made annually until June 30th.
Students will be provided with a modern uniform, books and school supplies of basic necessity.
In addition, practical assistance will be provided for students to subscribe to newspapers and magazines, as well as for trips to children's health camps across the republic.
