Citizen of South Korea detained in Tashkent on fraud charges

At the International Airport named after Islam Karimov in Tashkent, a citizen of South Korea Lee Yong-keun was detained for committing a crime under Article 168 Part 3 (Large-scale fraud) of the Criminal Code of Uzbekistan, Uznews.uz reports with reference to the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Bukhara region.

According to the report, he was wanted since February of this year.

At the moment, the detainee is in remand prison Nr. 4 of Bukhara. Investigative actions on the matter are being conducted.
