According to statistical data of Single Republican Processing Center (SRPC), the results of the first quarter of 2019 have shown stable growth in a number of indicators.
In the first quarter of the current year, the number of transactions on e-commerce amounted to 73.8 million units. It recorded an increase of 2.3% against the 72.1 million in the fourth quarter of 2018.
The sum of e-commerce transactions amounted to 2 516 316 million soums in the 1Q of 2019. This figure is estimated at 24.8% growth compared to the fourth quarter of 2018 (2,017,000 million soums).
In January-March this year, the total number of transactions through POS-terminals accounted for 131.9 million units (15,166,740 million soums), and the number of cash transfers via ATMs – 11.3 million units (5,939,327 million soums).
According to the SRPC statistic data, the aggregate number of plastic cards issued for circulation amounted to 1.052 816 units in the 1Q of the current year, showing growth of 1.4% compared to the number of plastic cards issued in the fourth quarter of 2018.
