Belgian company Clayton Industries may create a joint venture in Namangan region
On April 18, 2019, the Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Belgium Dilyor Khakimov in Bornem met with the sales manager of the Clayton Industries Stefaan Janssens, the press service of the Foreign Ministry reports.
Founded in 1930, Clayton specializes in the production of steam generators. They are used in the automotive industry, electronic devices, food industry, horticultural farms and other areas.
During the talks, the prospects for cooperation of the Belgian manufacturer with Uzbek companies were discussed.
Following the meeting, an agreement was reached on a visit to Uzbekistan at the beginning of May by the manager of Clayton Industries. In particular, during the planned visit, Stefaan Janssens will visit the Namangan region, where meetings will be organized in the regional khokimiyat, the branch of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and also at the enterprises of the region.
It is also intended to consider the creation of a joint venture in the Namangan region within the framework of the visit.
